As a Dispatch Security Professional in a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor alarms, coordinate responses, manage access control activity, and communicate critical information to appropriate personnel. You will use computer and alarm panel systems to support security-related operations, provide exceptional customer service, and help deter incidents through prompt, professional communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Monitor incoming communications, alarms, access-control notifications, and video systems; document and relay relevant information to appropriate personnel and responders.
  • Dispatch security-related personnel and coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
