About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Center in Maiden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarm and access control systems, document activity, and dispatch resources as needed. Requirements

Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document service requests, incidents, alarms, and critical situations, then coordinate the appropriate response according to established procedures.
Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and activity reports while communicating relevant information to security-related personnel, site contacts, and emergency responders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely updates and escalating matters as directed by site-specific protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance-related issues.
