As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to riders, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and document observations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicle staging areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations; prepare clear and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Assist with access control, directions, crowd management, and public-facing concerns while maintaining a professional presence and following site procedures.
