Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, checking identification and/or credentials, and following visitor management procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Support staff, patients, and visitors with directions, information, and reporting of security-related concerns observed at the front desk area.
  • Document routine activities, incidents, and unusual events in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
