As a Security Officer - Dedicated Residential Driving Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and property activity, assist with visitor and resident interactions, and document security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or unusual conditions.
• Support a respectful residential environment by addressing routine concerns, communicating with property personnel when needed, and following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
