Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving officer at a dynamic food and beverage manufacturing location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage incidents. In this role, you will support security-related operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing integrity, reliability, and innovation to each shift.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, inspect packages and/or vehicles when required by site policies, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior through established security-related procedures.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, following post orders, and assisting with incident reports, shift logs, and other security-related documentation.
