Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a residential location, where you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

• Supervisory experience is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observed concerns to residents, property management, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential streets, common areas, amenities, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and/or community access areas, verify authorized access when required, and document security-related events, visitor activity, and policy-related issues.
• Support residential property operations by observing site conditions, reporting maintenance or hazard concerns, and providing clear, professional assistance during routine and emergency situations.
