As a Security Officer De-escalation Team in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control procedures. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Requirements

  • Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess access control and badge experience, preferred.
  • Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of courthouse public areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors in accordance with established courthouse procedures and posted requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports in accordance with Allied Universal and location requirements.
