Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor, vendor, and/or delivery activity, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Support daily operations at a food and beverage location by observing surroundings, communicating clearly with site personnel, and completing routine reports on incidents and/or patrol activity.
