As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe on-site activity, documenting incidents and/or maintenance-related concerns and reporting them through the proper channels.
  • Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and helping to address security-related concerns in a professional manner.
