About The Position

As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, observe for unusual behavior or property concerns, and communicate with property staff and/or public responders when needed.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance-related concerns, and support access control and visitor-related processes at the location.
