About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and the facility perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, and potential security-related concerns; complete accurate reports and maintain required documentation.
