As an Access Control Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide welcoming customer service to guests, residents, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally, and support a secure environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and document access-related activity in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of resort buildings, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with resort staff and emergency responders, escalating security-related issues according to site procedures.
