About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Screening in Gibbstown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, and other security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, production areas, and restricted spaces.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access control concerns, and/or conditions that could require reporting.
  • Prepare clear reports on daily activities, incidents, and access control events, and report maintenance issues, policy concerns, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
