About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Screening Lead in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles entering or departing the location in accordance with post orders and documented security-related procedures.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or screening concerns to site leadership in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism, following established communication and escalation guidelines for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions that could impact operations or require security-related attention.
