Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
  • Monitor entry points, gates, and/or lobby areas to help control authorized access to the facility, including screening visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with posted protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, unsecured access points, and/or operational issues within the food and beverage location.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating directions, maintaining order at access points, and completing required reports on daily operations and security-related events.
