Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access procedures, badge verification, and other security-related policies at a chemical processing location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to control authorized access for personnel, vehicles, and materials entering or leaving the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities in accordance with post orders and site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle logs, report unusual activity, and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, gates, and perimeter zones to help to identify unauthorized activity, maintenance concerns, and/or conditions that may require attention.
