Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location, where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and complete routine patrols while providing outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily security-related operations, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and bring our agile, reliable, and innovative approach to life through teamwork, care, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through appropriate channels when needed.
  • Monitor visitor, contractor, and delivery access, maintain required logs and documentation, and communicate clearly with personnel regarding entry requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
  • Support vehicle and pedestrian access management at entry points, helping to direct traffic flow and/or screening activity in accordance with site policies.
