As a Security Officer Credential Issuance in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, and supporting visitor procedures. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and guests, and help address security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, authorize access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain visitor and contractor records.
  • Screen and direct commercial vehicle traffic, deliveries, and personnel to designated areas while following established access-control protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
