Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records.
  • Screen incoming and outgoing traffic in accordance with site procedures, including checking delivery documentation and directing drivers to designated areas.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
