Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and approved entry and exit protocols at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, gates, and/or screening points to help support authorized access, document visitor activity, and report unusual or suspicious activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders, emergency response activities, and escalation procedures for security-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, which may include offices, data-sensitive areas, parking areas, and common spaces, while observing conditions and reporting maintenance, policy, and/or security-related issues.
  • Complete logs, incident reports, and other required documentation related to access events, visitor management, deliveries, and/or operational concerns in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal standards.
