About The Position
As a Security Officer Credential Control in Mesquite, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
- Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
- Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate relevant information during shift changes.
