As a Security Officer CPR Certified Patrol Driver in Tukwila, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine driving and/or foot patrols, and remain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, report suspicious behavior, and document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support crowd management, assist with directing the public during service disruptions and/or emergencies, and provide visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
