As a Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, manage access control, and support X-ray screening activities. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
