As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned spaces within a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report unusual behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Support day-to-day operations by completing incident reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and assisting with security-related procedures during deliveries, visitor management, and after-hours access requests.
