As a Security Officer Building Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will welcome guests, manage access, monitor front desk activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk post in an office location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or appointments, and help manage visitor access in accordance with property procedures.
  • Answer phones, support tenant and guest inquiries, and coordinate with property management and/or building staff regarding routine issues, access requests, and incident notifications.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with the appropriate contacts as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of entrances, common areas, and front desk systems to help support orderly operations and help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
