As a Security Officer Corporate Building Patrol in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, property-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, stairwells, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns at the location.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and tenant activity, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and/or other security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing required reports and logs in a timely manner.
