About The Position

As a Security Officer Controlled Entry Coordinator in Conley, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and support site operations through visible presence and strong communication. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver customer service with a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven approach while working as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and help to control access for authorized personnel, vehicles, and vendors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, dock areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, noting security-related concerns and/or access issues as they arise.
• Support traffic flow at gates and checkpoints by communicating directions, reviewing visitor logs, and helping to maintain orderly movement of people, packages, and freight.
