Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A current tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required in accordance with COLA DPSS/DHS requirements.
A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening and controlling entry and exit points, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, processing visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting unauthorized or unusual activity to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and government location protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, access issues, and policy violations.
Document daily activities, incidents, and access control events accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as appropriate.
