As a Security Officer - Console Operator for Plaza in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • Security experience of 6+ months is required.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other dispatch systems, receive calls for service, and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations by documenting details, prioritizing requests, and coordinating communication with property management, first responders, and/or Allied Universal personnel as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records to support daily operations and help with timely follow-up on security-related matters.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while remaining prepared to support dispatch responsibilities in changing working environments and conditions.
