About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Console Operator in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building conditions, assisting with badge and entry procedures, checking doors and gates, and reporting unauthorized access attempts and/or policy violations.
  • Complete routine reports and daily activity logs, noting incidents, hazards, and property-related concerns, and share relevant updates with Allied Universal supervisors and/or client representatives.
