About The Position

As a Security Officer Concierge Desk in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor intake, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and access permissions, and document guest arrivals, deliveries, and/or service requests in accordance with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and support a professional front desk presence while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions within the location.
  • Complete reports and maintain accurate front desk records related to access activity, incidents, and/or daily operations in alignment with site expectations.
