About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk Concierge in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures, visitor screening practices, badge access support, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, manage visitor check-in and check-out processes, and help to deter unauthorized access in a professional manner.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and support employees, guests, and vendors with front desk needs in a technology-focused office location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain detailed front desk logs, report unusual activity, and follow Allied Universal and site-specific security-related policies and procedures.
