About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a concierge post in Hempstead, New York. The role emphasizes customer service and building connections with people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., for 32 hours weekly, at $17.40 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a New York State security license.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.

• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
