About The Position

As a Security Officer Communications Coordinator in Athens, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will coordinate communications, monitor incoming information, support access control operations, and help direct response to security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and urgent service requests, alarms, and incident information to appropriate on-site personnel and responders.
  • Monitor communications systems, cameras, access-control activity, and other security-related equipment; document events and maintain accurate dispatch logs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
  • Coordinate with site personnel and conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas and the perimeter as assigned to help deter unauthorized activity.
