Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor radios, phones, alarms, and other communication systems to receive calls for service, prioritize incidents, and relay information to security-related personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Coordinate the response of on-site personnel to routine issues, urgent situations, and critical incidents, helping to support timely communication between departments and/or first responders.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and daily activity in dispatch logs and reports, maintaining accurate records of security-related communications and actions taken.
  • Assist with access-related issues, visitor concerns, and other location needs by providing directions, answering questions, and escalating matters according to site-specific policies.
