Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at an automotive facility; verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with established procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, business locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Assist with directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries to designated locations while maintaining professional communication and supporting orderly site operations.
