About The Position

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, families, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a respectful and professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report suspicious behavior, trespassing concerns, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
• Support a respectful atmosphere at the location by providing directions, assisting with general inquiries, and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
