As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to members, guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a hospitality-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout club facilities, guest-facing areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and activity across the property, helping to verify authorized entry, observing for policy violations, and addressing concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Support daily operations by providing directions, assisting with customer inquiries, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
