About The Position

As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Vaccines are required for this hospital location.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity in accordance with site protocols while reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and/or communicating with staff and visitors during routine and emergency situations.
