Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, observe site activity, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, gate access points, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor site access by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials when required, and communicating with site personnel regarding deliveries, visitors, and/or operational concerns.
Support order at the location by following post instructions, reporting hazards or maintenance issues, and assisting with traffic flow, vehicle checks, and/or other assigned security-related duties.
