Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach while adapting to the needs of the location with agility, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing updates with property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, common areas, and/or vacant spaces within the location, helping to verify authorized access, support property rules, and address questions or concerns from occupants and guests.
Complete routine reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or daily operations, while communicating clearly with tenants, visitors, property representatives, and Allied Universal team members.
