Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting front desk operations at a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor access to the property by verifying visitor information, issuing credentials, and documenting arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with property guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Observe lobby activity, cameras, and entry points for unusual or suspicious behavior and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of security-related procedures.
  • Complete routine reports, maintain accurate front desk records, and support day-to-day security-related activities while presenting a professional presence.
