Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities for a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor lobby and entrance activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or access credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with property protocols.
  • Answer phones, assist tenants, guests, and vendors with directions and general inquiries, and document visitor arrivals, deliveries, and other front desk activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Support access control and badge processes, maintain accurate logs and reports, and communicate security-related information clearly with tenants, visitors, and on-site personnel.
