Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic cultural institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, public areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor visitor flow, assist with directional guidance, and report conditions that could affect daily operations, valuable collections, and/or restricted areas.
• Support access control and security-related screening practices for designated spaces, helping to confirm that only authorized individuals enter staff-only and collection-related areas.
