Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a professional office location, where you will help support access control, visitor check-in, and security-related communications with a welcoming presence. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, managing front desk activity, and supporting security-related protocols for an office location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor information, issue access credentials as directed, and maintain visitor logs and front desk records.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building management and/or emergency contacts as appropriate.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and support a professional front desk presence while helping to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.
  • Observe cameras, alarms, and other building systems from the front desk, report maintenance and/or security-related concerns, and document daily activities and notable events.
