About The Position

As a Security Officer Spanish Speaking Reception in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, greet visitors, and assist with access control processes such as visitor registration, badge distribution, and/or directing guests to the appropriate destination.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Answer phones, manage inquiries, and support tenant, visitor, and vendor interactions with professionalism and attention to site protocols.
  • Observe lobby and entrance activity and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues to help support daily operations.
