About The Position

As a Security Officer Bilingual Welcome Desk in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor reception duties, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor credentials, issue access badges when applicable, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building management, tenants, vendors, and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain detailed front desk logs, document incidents and unusual activity, answer questions, and support employees and visitors with access-related requests in a professional manner.
  • Observe cameras, phones, and other front desk systems to report concerns, support after-hours entry procedures, and follow location protocols for deliveries, contractors, and guest arrivals.
