Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, while reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening procedures, badge checks, and direction-giving in support of daily operations and security-related protocols.
  • Support a professional environment by helping to deter unauthorized access, addressing policy-related concerns with courtesy, and maintaining a visible presence throughout assigned areas.
