Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a dynamic media and technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This role offers the chance to support people first through teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Must be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals when required in a hospital setting.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, studios, production-related areas, parking locations, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with directions, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or security-related concerns.
  • Support site operations by communicating with local management and/or first responders when needed, following post orders, and assisting with evacuation or shelter-in-place procedures as directed.
